Annual Meeting at shillong,2011

The Annual Conference of OSA at Shillong(November,2011)was a great success.Delegates from the North-Eastern states and also from other parts of the India had participated in this years conference.Scientific deliberations, trade and post meeting cultural functions were of high standards.Congatulations to the organizers and the delegates. We are glad to inform the members that in this year the 1st Annual Proceedings of Ophthalmological Society of Assam was released. The members who could not collect the Proceedngs at the conference venue are requested to collect the same from the proceedings editor Dr Nilutpal Borah,Guwahati Eye Institute and Research Center, Bhangagarh,Guwahati. Membership Terms & Conditions

No application for membership will be accepted unless it is complete in all respects and accompanied by a Demand Draft or at per cheque of Rs.2000/- in favour of "Ophthalmological Society Of Assam" payable at Tinsukia, Assam.

Every member is entitled to received Society's Bulletin and Annual proceedings of the Society free of charge.

Every new member will initially be admitted provisionally and shall deemed to have become a full member only after formal ratification by the General Body and issue of ratification order by the Society. Only then he or she will be eligible to vote, or apply for any Fellowship/Award, propose or contest for any election of the Society.

Application for the memebership along with the Bank Draft for the memebership fee should be addressed to Dr. Swaraj Bhattacharjee, Hony. Gen. Secretary, Ophthalmological Society of Assam. Licence Size Coloured Photograph is to be pasted on the form in the space and two stamp/Licence Size Coloured photographs are required to be sent along with a Copy of Degree (MBBS / MD/DNB/etc.) & Medical Council Certificate

Abstract Submission Terms & Conditions

One Presenting Author can submit two abstracts each in Free Paper/E-Poster/Video.
Only ratified OSA Members are eligible for best paper/video/poster Awards.
After online submission of Abstracts, members must send one copy of completed abstract submission form as a hard copy to the following address within 15 days of online submission :
